Community Guidelines

Welcome to Collaborate, CWC’s online member community. This platform is intended to support thoughtful, professional exchange among members on workplace compliance and related issues. To help maintain a productive and respectful environment, we ask that all participants follow these guidelines.

1. Be Professional and Respectful

Engage with others in a professional and courteous manner. Differences of opinion are expected and encouraged, but personal attacks, harassment, or discriminatory remarks are not permitted.

2. Contribute Thoughtfully

Please keep discussions relevant to the purpose of the community or forum in which you are participating. Use appropriate categories or tags when posting, and aim to add value through questions, insights, or experience-based perspectives.

3. Protect Confidentiality and Privacy

Do not share confidential, proprietary, or personally identifiable information, whether your own or others’, without appropriate authorization. This includes sensitive workplace matters, private communications, and information that could reasonably identify individuals or organizations.

4. Avoid Promotions and Solicitation

The community is not a venue for unsolicited promotions, advertising, sales activity, or vendor referrals. Posts should not seek to recommend, endorse, or steer members toward specific commercial products or service providers. Resources may be shared when they are directly relevant to the discussion, presented in a factual and non‑promotional manner, and consistent with CWC posting guidelines.

5. Respect Intellectual Property

When sharing content, ideas, or materials created by others, provide appropriate attribution and respect applicable intellectual property rights.

6. Comply with Applicable Law

All participation must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including those relating to antitrust and competition, confidentiality, defamation, data protection, and copyright. Discussions should not include pricing, competitive strategies, or other topics that raise antitrust concerns.

7. No Legal Advice

CWC does not provide legal advice through its online communities. Posts and discussions are for general informational and professional exchange purposes only. Members should consult their own legal counsel regarding specific legal questions.

8. Anonymous Posts

To encourage candid discussion, CWC may permit anonymous posts in certain communities, subject to additional limitations. All anonymous posts are subject to review and approval by CWC prior to posting and must comply with these Community Guidelines. CWC reserves the right to decline or remove anonymous content in its discretion.

9. Moderation and Enforcement

CWC reserves the right to edit, move, delay, or remove content that does not comply with these guidelines and to suspend or remove access for participants who fail to adhere to them. Content may be reviewed prior to posting or temporarily held for moderation. Moderation decisions are made to protect the integrity of the community and the experience of its members.

10. Reporting Concerns

If you have concerns about content or conduct in the community, please notify CWC by contacting hello@cwc.org. Member cooperation is essential to maintaining a high-quality professional forum.
